Nicely made but HUGE
It's a beautiful shirt and feels amazing. Soft fabric and drapes beautifully. But its HUGE. FP known for oversized look but this is excessive and you need to really downsize on your purchase.

Got a small and looks like an XL
When they say oversized they really mean it. I am usually a medium to large and so I sized down to a small and it looks like an xl or 1xl on me

better quality than expected
I love Free People but their quality isn’t always the best. This one is better than expected, with thicker fabric (no camisole necessary) than I anticipated.
Definitely oversized, but I still wear the same size I usually wear in FP.

You have to style it to love it
FP is always oversized. The fabric is high quality so is the construction. However it will swallowed you if you’re just wearing it as a button down shirt—go down 2x. Otherwise style it like a jacket over a cropped tank. Or wear as a belted dress with ballet flat or layer with a v-neck vest and boots for the fall. I love its versatility!!!

Size is bonkers
Okay, I love Free People. I have multiple shirts and probably like 7 of the ottoman sweater. I know they’re oversized, and ordered my usual medium. Well, THIS shirt surpassed their normal “oversized” fit and absolutely drowned me. The shirt was nearly down to my knees, sleeves were hanging off my hands, etc. I don’t know what Free People was doing with this one. It is HUGE!
