This dress is so much more flattering on in person than in the image. It's not too short, fits great around waist with the elastic/band in back, not as low cut as image shows and great quality (not too thin and not too thick of a denim) Really cute with boots, sandals or casual sneakers . I usually size down to XS in Free People dresses and that's what I did with this dress as well.
