Cable Stitch Cardigan

The material and knit were nice. I ordered the white color in XS. Sleeves are very long. The deal breaker for me was the buttons came in white plastic NOT the dark contrast horn buttons shown on the picture.

Add at least six inches to the sleeves in the photograph and you will get the picture of the sleeve length. I asked my husband how much he would pay for the sweater when I modeled it for him and he said not more than $50.

Love this sweater! The fit is as shown, with the long-ish sleeves and big buttons.

This is the first Free People cardigan where I didn’t need to size down. Too bad, because I did size down and the XS is too small. Ivory color is meh, and a little too yellow. Buttons are not the pretty dark ones in one of the photos. Cable knitting is attractive but when the sweater is too small across the bust, the cable stretches out and it’s not a good look. Sleeves are super long. Length is a bit awkward for me; it’s too long to be a true crop to wear with high waisted pants but not long enough to look proportional with slim straight mid-rise jeans. I will be returning for size but may not try a larger size.

I ordered the ivory sweater with the dark buttons as shown in the picture. I received an ivory sweater with ivory buttons which changes the entire look of the sweater! The fit was fine but unfortunately returning as it was not the look I wanted!
