Bali Old Flame Sweater Dress

Overall, I love this dress and the fit however, the front is a little short. I’m curious if I size up if it will give me a little more length than the front, but I don’t wanna lose the perfect silhouette. I will probably end up layering with a longer lace slip or something! At this price point, I was a little disappointed to see acrylic for the materials but other than that nine out of 10!

This review is not for the item. It’s for the inventory control or lack there of. I ordered this top back in December. About a week later I received an email that said it was cancelled. Fine, things happen. Two days ago, I notice the item was once again in stock available to purchase, so I did. About an hour ago (2days after placing the order) I received another email saying “sorry your item has been cancelled”. This happening one time, I do understand, there are a lot of moving parts in retail management. However this happening twice, within a couple of weeks, with the same item is just not acceptable. Nordstrom, you are my all time favorite store to shop at. My hope is that your inventory control improves since this is not the first time this has happened to me over the years.

I bought this online, along with some other dresses trying to find the perfect holiday dress this year, this was the winner. it’s so lightweight but warm and soft to the touch. I love the way it cinches at the waist so it doesn’t take away from your natural body shape. You can dress it up and make it more classy with a pair of nude heels or wear it with boots like in the picture. It’s a very versatile dress. Also, it is on the shorter side so if you’re tall this might be super mini on you but if you’re short like me it’s the PERFECT length.
