As You Are Corduroy Maxi Skirt

I purchased this skirt in the cognac color. In the light it looks like a pale olive green. It fits fine but for me there is too much material running down the sides of too full if you will. I could be more tapered and it’s a little stiff. I got lots of compliments on it. I washed it hoping that would help. But no. I also stitched up the front slit as it came all the way almost to my crotch. Anyway I kept the skirt because it’s comfortable, cute and I can fix the fullness.

The fabric was a cheap and thin “corduroy”, in wide wale. The slit was ridiculously high - which can easily be sewn to whatever you like. The waist was also pretty snug. And the amount of volume at the bottom was huge. It’s like this was made for a cartoon character and not a real person.
