the best boots
This is my second pair of ace boots. First was a black leather without the grommets and now the brown suede with grommets. They’re so comfortable they never need to be broken in. Keep in mind these do run slightly small. I’m a standard 8.5 for all Freda shoes and am a 9 in these.

Would go well with a broom
I feel like all I need is a pointed hat, a cape, and a broom to be ready for Halloween. Additionally, they are too tight in the toe area and uncomfortable. I’ll be returning these.

witchy
Deducted one star for not having a zipper, but the laces tightened and loosened very easily. I was floored by how slim this shoe looks. The leather is very soft and comfortable. Just debating whether I need a fifth pair of black boots...

Fantabulous looking booties
I have been eyeing the buckled Ace Bootie from FS forever! Who knew it would take a pandemic for it to drop 60 percent? As soon as I saw the sale, I snagged it in my usual size, 7.5. Mind you, I have wide feet but the reviews were unclear whether the booties were TTS, smaller or larger. One said it was too small while two others said it was too big. I decided to just get my usual size. The booties looked narrow once I received them. I thought my feet wouldn't even go it, but it did! I think I'll have to break it in before wearing it for hours. These boots look awesome. You can wear it with a leather jacket or with a long floral dress. I don't think I would pay full price for it though because I don't think any shoe is worth 500 plus.

black is not as shown
I purchased the black. The picture shows plain black boots, however, I received black boots that have the same hardware as the brown boots - grommets around the laces and nail heads around the sole. They are lovely and unique, but just a little too much metal for me. Also, they run narrow. I usually wear a 7, and the size 7's pinch the whole front of my foot (even though they are plenty long enough). My foot is normal width, not wide.
