Frankie Silk Slipdress

Quality just not there for the price paid. Dress arrived with some minor snags, which would only increase with wear. Very pretty, but would not recommend for people with more curves. The size 4 fit me well everywhere except in the butt area where it puckered around my lower back quite a bit.

I am 3 months postpartum with cesarean delivery, so my stomach is not flat by any means. I ordered 10+ dresses for a few weddings I’m attending this year, and I was very discouraged by how I looked in most of them… until this beauty came in! I had kind of discounted it in my mind because it looks very form fitting in the photo, but BOY do I feel gorgeous in this dress! The color is soft and beautiful and the stretchy back is very accommodating for my nursing boobs. Not too tight on the belly. I’ll need to get the straps and the length shortened, but it’s so worth it to be in a dress that makes me feel this good. I love it so much I bought it in another color!

I cannot express just how gorgeous this dress is. I was ambivalent about trying it because it appeared to be so formfitting and potentially very uncomfortable. This dress could not be any more comfortable. With the ruching across the upper back and the long slit up the back, it feels as though you’re wearing pajamas. I ordered a size 4, for reference I am 5’5”, 113 pounds, and could have probably gotten away with a 2, but will keep the 4 because it looks and feels great. One thing to mention, this dress is exceptionally long, so be prepared to get it hemmed. Planning on wearing this to an upcoming wedding.
