Mini Belfast Crop Knit Peacoat

While this jacket is very good on- it's over 300 dollars for "sweatshirt" fabric. Read that again. I loved it, well made, etc but had to return when I came to my senses.

This jacket is so comfortable with it's sweatshirt-like fabric. It looks great with a white blouse or a tee underneath. Its a modern take on a classic design - but no itch because there is no wool! I'd consider this a lightweight jacket. Super cute. Great for warmer climates or to wear indoors as a blazer substitute.

This jacket is so much fun. I'm 5'2" and I like the length. Had to have the sleeves shortened about 3 inches.

I purchased the Mini Belfast in white and Indigo Mineral, a fabulous blue and even prettier in person. The Mini Belfast is very expensive for an unlined sweatshirt material jacket and that is about the extent of the reasons I had not to buy it. I was skeptical at first too but it is a classic design and F&E knows how to tweak it to fit women beautifully. It looks great on and is crazy comfortable. I travel constantly for my job & this jacket is the best ever easy maintenance piece for keeping warm on freezing planes and laundering afterwards. Unlike the elevated synthetic sets I used to wear which weren’t warm and needed to be laid flat to dry, I can toss the Mini Belfast in the wash and dry on low and it comes out perfectly and ready to go. Most importantly, I feel put together wearing it with just jeans and a tee or button down shirt. There is a booming market for “reloved” Mini Belfasts, especially in the rarer colors, so catching one on sale at Nordstroms is a treat. I personally expect to enjoy mine for many years.

I love this jacket; I wear it all the time and it makes an instant outfit. You look polished and put-together I wear it on the plane a lot!

Great fit- easy out finisher- the cropped fit makes is kind of swingy.
