Bocca Leather Loafer - Multiple Widths Available (Women)

I have been having foot problems for a couple of years now such that comfort is my primary goal at this point, with a secondary hope for something also with some style. I figured this shoe with its classic Franco Sarto square toe would be pretty comfortable. I’ve actually had a similar shoe but with a higher heel by Franco Sarto previously. Anyway, the first day I wore these shoes, they hurt my feet horribly and I was really concerned that I might have made a mistake, but I figured maybe they needed to be broken in a bit. The second wearing was considerably better, almost miraculously so, and now after several wearings, I feel pretty happy to have found them. They now fit basically like they were made for me and I really like that they are substantial and likely to last a long time. I don’t know if the patent leather breaks in as well as the regular leather, which I purchased. I gave four stars instead of five because it would be great if they had more arch support, but the average wearer will likely find the support to be above average for a woman’s shoe. Yes, I would buy them again. Also, while the boxy shape looks masculine in the picture, they wear more feminine than they appear, and it’s not a huge shoe or a shoe that makes the foot look bigger than it is; the style actually looks rather small in person and they look tailored on. They look stylish and of very good quality on the foot with jeans or pants/trousers. Can be worn with casual or dress pants, so versatile. A good everyday shoe. You will be comfortable but will look and feel like the opposite of a slouch while wearing them. Recommend.
