Hydrating with no residue
This is my new favorite moisturizer. I’m a woman and this works great under makeup. It absorbs quickly without an oily residue. It leaves my skin feeling really hydrated. After using this I can’t go back to the classic yellow moisturizer from Clinique.

I found this to be very sticky
I recieved a sample of this when I purchased other Clinique products and I wanted to like it, as my current moisturizer is a gel based one, and I found this very, very sticky. The sachet sample I got hadn't much in it either so I'm not sure if I got a bad batch but I was very disappointed with the product. I even checked here after using it to make sure it was a moisturizer and not a face wash.

The best I've used yet
I've used so many face moisturizers it's stupid. I've tried Rugged and dapper, Jack Blacks, Brickell, kiehls, and clinques own standard moisturizer and their ultra hydration one. This is my fave by far. I have extremely dry skin on my face so you know what kind a skin type I have.
While I don't think the water gel moisturizes any better than the others, I has absolutely ZERO scent. So many others claim to have none but then you rub it on your face and it'll have a slight chemical smell or natural smell. This have none nada zip. I love that. And finally you legit can't tell you put anything on your face just 10 minutes after using it. No shiny face or stickyness to be found. While I think this product a way overpriced, it's my favorite I've found.

Another Home Run For Clinique
I have used Clinique For Men products for a lot of years -- and always been pleased.
I was simply going to re-order the Clinique items I use daily when I saw this product on the Nordstrom website.
I was intrigued by the description of it but had to think twice before ordering because I was so
comfortable with the Clinique products I had been using for so long.
I took the plunge and ordered this Maximum Hydrator - and I am so glad I did.
This is a superior product which I use on a daily basis.
It has a different consistency and texture than the face cream I previously used.
It also has a different feel when applied to the face than the cream - but that's a good thing.
A few small dabs from the bottle in the palm of my hand and I am
ready to apply the maximum hydrator to my face.
It's great stuff.
I am now a regular and repeat user of this product.

feels tight when it dries
As with most gel moisturizers I’ve tried in the past, this is no different. Glides on smoothly enough but once it dries it has a tight feel on your face. Your skin doesn’t look or feel moisturized at all. Returning.
