Great Suit!!
I usually buy my suits from Mens Wearhouse. I think I own at least one suit of every brand they offer. I decide I wanted to buy a suit that was expensive so I went to Nordstrom’s in Burlington MA to look at a Canali suit. After walking around trying to find them I met a Ken who works in the mens suite section. I’m a big guy, 6’ 265lb. Ken had me try on the Peter Millar suit and said that it would fit me perfectly due to me having wide shoulders and a big back. It did!! The material feels great and have gotten nothing but compliments. Instead of buying one $1,800 suit that’s made for smaller frames I bought two of the Millar’s!! Since then I’ve purchased 4 of them!! Love the suits!! If you’re ever in Burlington Ma and you’re looking for a suit you should stop in and see Ken. The guy knows his stuff!! Also, the tailoring at the Burlington location is spot on as well!!! Great experience!!!

Expected so much better...
We actually bought this suit in late August for my son's wedding in early October. After some slight alterations the suit was ready to go and looked terrific. However, after just one wearing, the day of the wedding, the stitching had come out in the waist, and there was heavy pilling all the way down the legs of the slacks. This should not have happened with a $700 suit after just one wearing. Nordstrom's did take the suit in return and provided a new one (though we could not find anything comparable color-wise, so had to re-order the same suit as a replacement). Hopefully this will not happen with the replacement.

Good quality Suit
The suit color is a pretty blue and the material is of good quality. I think this suite can be worn all year round. My only complaint was the suit was sent not wrapped in plastic so it came in very wrinkled. I think after we get the suit fitted by alterations they should take care of pressing but overall the suit is very nice

Nice suit. Bad alterations
We had a tailor fit Larry at the time of purchase. The suit arrived today. Both legs seem short. The tailor did not pin them to be that short. One leg is a 1/2" shorter than the other. When pressed, one leg wasn't pressed with the seams matching. We weren't expecting such shoddy work from Nordstroms. To return them to get them altered correctly is a 250 mile round trip. We are so disappointed. I don't want this posted as a review. I want Nordstroms to know how dissatisfied we are.

Classic look and great quality.
Had it tailored, but the fit is great. The material feels nice, and the colors and pattern maintain a classic and refined look. I wore this for a several hours to a company event and it was breathable and comfortable the whole time.
