Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum & Flowerbomb Peony Eau de Parfum 2-Piece Gift Set $60 Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm kind of surprised that these fragrances are as popular as they are. Although I do enjoy some of the notes that I can still smell in the fragrance, overall it's quite too heavy in patchouli and powder for me. It very much overwhelms the perfume to a point where I cannot smell much else. I wouldn't say it's a terrible fragrance but it's definitely not my cup of tea. To me there is nothing unique or remarkable about the fragrance. This smells more like something my grandmother would wear. In fact, I could probably go to her vanity right now and find several perfumes that smell almost exactly the same. I did enjoy the packaging however, and I adore how these look exactly like miniatures of the full size perfumes. With that being said, I would not recommend this product. As I was not a fan of the original, I didn't think I would like the Ruby Orchid version either and so far I do not. I think I find it slightly more tolerable than the original but I still didn't enjoy it. I felt like the heavy patchouli and powder notes of the original got swapped for what smells like straight sugar and very tart fruit. I do enjoy fruity notes very much but this came off as very sickly sweet. I feel that the sweetness smacks you in the face instead of slowly blooming, if that makes sense. I found it to be borderline headache inducing. I would not recommend this product.
