Floral Cotton Midi Dress

I must have tried on approximately 50 dresses (Including many that were far more expensive) for an upcoming wedding in Europe before landing on this one. The lightweight cotton will be perfect for the garden setting, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful in person. The bright blue is so fun, and different from most florals I saw. I found the cut of the neckline to be super flattering , making my shoulders look narrower. The tie back makes it very adjustable, but still covers enough to not feel too exposed for a wedding - though finding a bra to pair with it has been challenging. That said, if I tie it tight enough, I feel I can get away with no bra or stickers. My one nit is the snap closure in the chest, which is not really secure at all. First thing I did was replace that with some good quality velcro fabric stickers which feel much more secure but still enable easy on/off. You could also honestly just sew it shut with a couple tacking stitches, since the tie back makes it easy enough to get on and off. Length hits me about 2 inches above the ankles, so it is teetering closer to a maxi on me. For reference, I am almost 5'6", 164 lbs (somewhere between athletic build and hourglass), 36D, long waisted, with bigger hips/butt. I typically wear an 8 or 10, and after trying both the large and medium, I kept the medium (the large was far too big in the waist band in the back).
