Love them - very comfortable
The rise is 11 inches high.. measured myself. So they aren't low rise they really aren't exactly high rise (to me, high rise is over 12"). I would say they are mid-high rise. They have just enough stretch in them to make these superbly comfortable black trousers. I would not classify as jeans exactly, but they look like jeans, fit like soft pants. The black is very black and can be dressed up or down. Perfect length on me (long legs, short torso) - at 5"4 these are not short on me but they appropriately hang with heels or sneakers. LOVE LOVE. a little pricy, but worth it; I will get a lot of wear out of these. Good butt jeans :)

Low rise not high rise
FYI, these are not a high rise jean. It says 12 inch rise. No way. When they arrived the tag said mid rise but after trying them on I would say they are low rise.

White stitching on waist?
I've seen a few reviews commenting on the rise of these jeans. I would put them at a high rise. Not super high rise, but definitely not midrise. The material is very nice and does not pick up lint like some black fabric does. The negative for these jeans is that they used white stitching when they sewed in the size tag and so there is a large white rectangle on the waist band. Also, just an fyi, the RB logo is black, not white as shown in the picture.
