less than perfect fit
It is a gorgeous, well-made coat, but unfortunately the fit was less-than-perfect: when closed it it made a fold under my arm, which was especially noticeable on my back. I tried other Fleurette and Cinzia Rocca that fit much better, so I returned this Fit & Flare coat.

narrow, flattering cut; high quality
When I saw a coat using Loro Piana wool in petite sizing, I was very excited! Usually, this high end Italian brand does not size for short women. Their wool is high quality, and it is not scratchy at all. I ordered this one along with the Fleurette notched collar walking coat. I decided on the latter because it is cut more generously. Returned this one. This coat has a much narrower cut. That's flattering if you wear it with dress, but not as practical since you can't wear a heavy sweater under. Consider this one if you're looking for a dressy coat. Good value for high quality.

Splurging on quality
Lovely, flattering, comfortable . The fabric is SO nice to touch and to wear. Makes me feel like a million bucks.

Nice but not for me
I'm 5'3'' 120lbs and purchased the tan color coat in a 4 regular. It is a little too tight in the chest area with a thin sweater under it, so I would definitely suggest ordering one size up. The fabric is soft, comfortable and has a nice sheen. I found the collar to be a little too large for my frame. It just looks odd to me. I also think the material is too thin to keep me warm in New England. I'll be returning it.
