Flat Front Wide Leg Jeans

As someone who prefers to wear stretchy pants like sweatpants or leggings most of the time, these are extremely comfortable jeans. They have a ton of stretch and the denim is soft. The rise fits closer to mid-rise rather than high-rise, in my opinion, but I prefer this. For reference, I have a straighter body shape with slim hips and I'm 5'2". They are definitely too long for flat shoes but would be perfect for heels. I sized down from a 27 to a 26, but I feel like I could've sized down even more to a 25 because of how stretchy they are.

These are so adorable, but I do wish I'd gotten the smaller size. I wouldn't say they necessarily run big, I am just often in between sizes so I defaulted to the larger one. For a reference, I am 5'3 and I weigh 147 lb. I'm never sure whether to get a 10 or a 12, I got a 12. I've already had them hemmed so I can't exchange him. But I love them and will wear them slightly big.

While I loved these jeans I hated that the bottoms were not finished. I had to drive two hours to Nordstrom to get them hemmed. Much to my display I learned (after shopping at Nordstrom for 50 years) that unless I had purchased these jeans with a Nordstrom credit card I had to pay to have the jeans hemmed even when they did not come hemmed in the first place. I had purchased two pairs of these jeans and had to pay a piece $24.00 ($48.00) to have them hemmed. I will tell you in all the years I have been shopping at Nordstrom this is the first time that I was disappointed and not pleased at all with the policy. I feel that I should not have had to pay for this for I buy quite a bit of things from Nordstrom. Maybe I will start shopping more at Neimans.
