There's a reason we call it Flagship™ Flannel. Made from ringspun combed cotton and carefully brushed (on both sides) for a softer hand, it's the commander of the fleet when it comes to comfort. We got the weight just right, too – so it's warm but won't overheat – and tailor each with a single chest pocket, buttondown collar, two-button adjustable cuffs and a two-ply box pleat for extra room in the shoulders.

Shrunk like crazy, unwearable
I *loved* this shirt when I unpacked it and put it on. Great fit, nice plaid, quality-feeling fabric. Then I made the mistake of washing it (according to label directions), and it shrunk like crazy. Sleeves shrunk a good two inches in length and didn't cover my wrists, body shrunk to be uncomfortably snug, and length shrunk to where it wouldn't stay tucked in. I'll give credit to Lands End for taking it back for a full refund, but it would have been better if the quality were there in the first place.

Tight in torso
I bought this last year and have really wanted to like it, but it's simply not "traditional fit" compared to all other LE shirts I've purchased in the past. The sleeve length is fine, but the torso has little room across the chest, with the placket feeling taught whenever I raise or move my arms about. I have older flannels from LE that are "traditional fit" and are wonderfully comfy with room to move. This is not a great fit and I don't have a broad chest.

Flagship indeed!
Bought for my husband. Totally satisfied. Bought a med. He is 6 ft and 155 lb. Great color, feel and workmanship. Washed nicely.
