This bag would be perfect if it just had a shoulder strap. It’s amazing in every other category, being extremely durable, intelligently designed, and exceptionally versatile and robust. The fact that it’s so eco-friendly is another great reason it is so versatile, but it truly needs another intelligent carry option.

First rate product - the best
Outstanding product. Clever functional design and first rate construction quality. Far superior to duffel bags by well known traditional American brands. They need to get back to this level of quality.
Product is exactly as described by the company and by reviewers on the website.

35L splitpack - great carry-on bag
Great bag for travelling! I use this bag for shorter trips. I bought the 35L and it fits well under a plane seat. This bag holds a surprising amount of stuff. It's also great for splitting dirty and clean laundry.

Combination of functionality, quality, and style
The Splitpack 37L is indeed a versatile beast that blurs the lines between backpack and duffle, offering the best of both worlds. The beauty of this bag truly lies in its clever design, which allows you to keep your essentials neatly organized in those two spacious compartments. The ergonomic shoulder straps and padded back panel are perfect for those treks from the car to the hotel or through bustling city streets.
I’ve gotten so many compliments about this bag! The Splitpack 37L blends in perfectly whether you are navigating through the wilderness or the concrete jungle, giving you that cool, adventurous vibe.
The water-resistant G-1000 heavy duty cotton fabric is indeed a standout feature. It not only provides durability but also offers a classic, rugged look that's perfect for handling the rigors of international travel. The spaciousness of the bag is a win. With dimensions like 11 inches x 11 inches x 18 inches, you're getting a generous 35 liters of packing space, which is fantastic for a carry-on.
Cons:
1. Some might not like that there is no water bottle Side Pocket. Honestly, I am glad this does not have one as it looks sleek without it.
2. Duffle Bag Handles as Backpack Straps. The “handles” are loose as they are the backpack straps, and I did not find them comfortable.
Overall, the Splitpack 37 L has served me well on my travels, and the limited lifetime warranty is the cherry on top of an already great deal. The combination of functionality, quality, and style makes it a solid choice for anyone seeking a reliable and organized travel companion.

Great travel bag.
I have had my bag for two years. It is extremely well made, and I have not had any issues, and the bag still looks great. It is very comfortable, the straps are easy to adjust and well padded. You can fit a lot of clothing and I have the smaller bag. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Glad I bought this bag!
I bought the Travel Pack Small (20L) - Black for a vacation. My vacation was a week long and I don't like checking in bags for flights; I had this backpack as my "personal item" carry-on and an additional roller carry-on for the overhead bin. The backpack fits under the economy airplane seat easily with room above if on its back. However, it is a little cumbersome to pull it out and take something out during the flight since my seat had little leg room. I was nervous that the full sized version of this bag (35 litres) wouldn't fit under the airplane seat, so I settled for this smaller size. The overall outside design itself is pleasing to look at, it looks like a step up from a casual backpack.
I packed my liquids baggie in the top left zipper pocket since I am able to access it from outside the backpack as well in case I needed to take it out during security check or for quick access. There's also a thin zippered compartment within that side. I packed my electronic tablet in its [bulky] case in the bottom, left zipper pocket since the laptop sleeve (see 2nd product picture above) was too narrow for it. I did, however, put my cords, external battery, and a book in the laptop sleeve compartment. I kept my sunglasses and boarding pass in the convenient top zippered compartment that's near the top handle. I packed a set of pajamas, scarf, hairdryer, and a purse in the larger, right side zippered packing side. The backpack straps are thick and comfortable even with a fully packed backpack. The outside zippers are big enough for a padlock if needed; I did not use one, but I do like the size & shape of the zippers. The bag overall feels sturdy and look forward to using it on more trips.
There are some minor cons that I personally don't consider significant enough to deduct a star for. The outer fabric is soft, so it does attract lint/debris, but easy enough to brush off. I wish it had a luggage strap at the back, so that I can put it on my roller luggage. The larger pack (35L) also has a side handle, but the small version (20L) does not. If you needed something out of the bottom of the zippered sections, you most likely have to completely unzipper the entire backpack, fold it out & open, and unzipper the inner pocket to get to your item which may be inconvenient especially in a narrow airplane seat as mentioned above or at the airport.
