Espadrille Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

I do like the style of this shoe and the footbed is comfortable. The leather strapping is stiff and very uncomfortable; actually hurt my feet. The strap running down the length of the top of the foot extends past the end horizontal strap and cut into my first 2 toes. I am a true 8 and they fit like 8-1/2s. They will work for a wide sz 8. $130 for a shoe only in full sizes is a sign of something amiss. This is my first time to try this brand. This almond color is very nice. I'm disappointed.

I bought my usual FitFlop size which is TTS to 1/2 a size smaller for me compared to other brands. The length is just right for this brand but the fit around the foot could be better. It's slightly loose around the ankle on the default holes. If I tighten by one hole, it's just a bit too tight. Maybe it will stretch with time. I really like the look and they seem well-made so I will keep them.

I purchased the Espadrille Wedge sandals because I liked how they looked and HOPED they would be comfortable as well. And they are! I walk a lot for work and these sandals are comfortable at the end of the day just as they are in the morning. I like the height on the wedge as it is not to high. I purchased the beige color because it is not as stark as a white. I highly recommend these wedges. I normally wear a size 10 but FitFlops size larger so buy one size smaller than your usual shoe size.
