FINNAMIC by Finn Comfort 'Ikebukuro' Walking Shoe

These shoes are the ultimate in comfort and craftsmanship. I also have the Finn Comfort lace-up shoes in the Recife and Queens styles. Since knee replacement surgery a year ago and a subsequent foot stress fracture I have only been able to wear shoes that lace, I have many other brands of tennis shoes, but these are the only shoes I have been able to tolerate. I absolutely love them. They are the only shoes I can wear all day without discomfort. They have wonderful arch support. I don't know enough superlatives to describe what a difference they have made in my life. And the Ikebukuro is the most comfortable of all. I wish they came in more colors.

I love my shoes. They felt great the moment I tried them on and my foot pain has decreased since wearing them (with their own footbed--it's more comfortable than my prescription orthotic). These shoes are so comfortable I wear them when I'm home and relaxing--see the photo! My spouse says they are cute, but they look like little boats to me,. Still, they are much cuter than the Brooks I used to wear and sturdier and beautifully constructed. I'm trying to order a second pair to have on hand because when you really love something and are a little OCD you can't bear the thought that you might lose or wear it out. Unfortunately, other people have scooped up all available pairs and I'm on the wait list! What I should be doing is telling you to stay away until I score my second pair. But I can't do it. If you're like me and agonizing over spending the money, let me tell you how I justify the expense. 1) These shoes are cheaper than a prescription orthotic and for me are more comfortable. 2) I have spent 1000's on shoes I cannot wear. To spend this much on a shoe I can wear is a bargain! I do wear a size larger than my foot in this shoe but I don't need the length as much as where the insoles fit my arches and tender places. For this reason, I recommend you try these shoes on if possible, or be prepared to order a few sizes and figure out what fits.

I have had 3 surgeries on my feet in the last year and they are in constant pain. These shoes are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I've ever owned. On top of that they are cute too. I've had lots of compliments on them. They are so much more supportive than sneakers, so these are my new go to shoes.

These shoes are good looking, lightweight, and very comfortable. I have terrible feet and have to be very careful about the shoes I buy. Even though the shoes are very expensive, I can wear them without being embarrassed because they are not "clunky" and they don't look like "granny shoes"! These will work!

Extremely well made, cute shoe. Very comfortable insole with good support. However, the inside seams of the shoe tongue seem to be thick, and hurt the top of my feet. If it weren't for that issue, I would have kept them. I felt they were slightly on the long side, so the half size down was best in length for me.
