Almost Perfect
Ok, I love this purse with the exception of 3 things. First, the price is about $200 too high. Secondly, it needs a zip pocket on the interior wall for all those little things that rattle around inside. Thirdly, the strap is too short for a proper crossbody. I'm going to see about getting a custom made strap that's longer. Having said all that, it's quite perfect. It's the right size, has ample exterior pockets to keep me organized, the design is amazing, and the leather is divine. This is, by far, the most I've ever paid for a purse but I think of it as a fashion investment as it will be quite perfect 10 years from now, too.

Bad magnet closure
I have the small field bag and love it, so I thought the larger one would be a very good purchase. I had seen other reviews describing the problem with the magnetic closure not staying closed, but I thought the problem had been corrected because those reviews were from a couple of years ago. But no, it is still a problem and renders the bag with an annoying clanging because the flap does not stay shut. Nordstrom graciously accepted the return and told me they had just had another bag like this come back for the same reason. This is a problem for Rag and Bone and they should fix it with a much stronger magnet.

Beautiful, with some structural caveats
This is a beautiful bag. However, as others have posted, the magnet on the front clasp doesn't stay closed. I contacted Rag and Bone, and they sent me the name of a company that does their leather repairs, but I don't think it can be fixed. Also, because the leather is so soft, the purse has no structure. (In the photo, it's probably stuffed with paper.) I cut a couple of pieces of cardboard to put in the bottom so it wouldn't sag from the weight of the contents. That worked well. It was still "slumpy," so I tried some purse organizer inserts (which also would have helped with the fact that the interior has only one small, flat pocket), but they were all too big. You can't really use the front pockets unless you want to unbuckle them every time. I am keeping the purse because I love the look. And because I've been searching forever for a shoulder bag that can be adjusted to be shorter (not crossbody). Sometimes form supersedes function.

My everyday bag
This bag is rated as a small capacity, but it’s more like medium. I’m always surprised that I can always fit so much in it. The leather is amazing and it’s super soft. It looks so good with jeans, shirt and boots.
If you’re on the fence, def go for it. It was worth the $$

Mediocre Messenger
I purchased for a road trip so that I could sling my bag across me for more security and convenience. The first day the front magnetic buckle would not stay closed. It keep unlatching and the noise when you walked was annoying with the clanking of the two magnetic pieces. On the up side big enough to carry more items then just a few cards and a phone. The adjustable straps and great for multiple length as some crossbodys are made for giants. The buckle to adjust are placed on the sides of the bag and that’s nice that you don’t have a buckle right across your breasts. Leather is so soft.

Great Fall Bag
I love this bag! The lamb leather is so soft, and contrasts nicely with the calf leather trim on the shoulder strap and the pocket closures. The difference between the two leathers is very subtle, and there is not a noticeable difference in the colors. The bag has numerous pockets - zip pocket in back, pocket under the flap, the two small front pockets, so it is great for keeping organized. The sizing is perfect - I can carry everything I need without the bag being stuffed. The strap is just long enough for me to wear the bag cross-body, but I mostly just wear it on my shoulder. Perfect for casual weekend outfits -

Magnet Closure Defect
This bag is made well. Sturdy, lots of places to put things, for a bag on the smaller side. The magnet closure does not stay closed. It flaps and clicks annoyingly while you walk. I would have also preferred a longer strap for crossbody usage. I believe this bag should sell for less than half of what it costs. Definitely not worth the price tag. Returned, unfortunately.
