Longline Convertible Strapless Underwire Bra

I’m new to wearing longline bras (this is my first) and I ordered by my typical bra size. My band measurement for bras is a 39 and bust is 46, so I usually wear a 38G. The cups were actually a little wide (I could feel the boning under my armpit all night) and the band with the hook closures was incredibly tight, likely because of the boning throughout and in the lower bodice. Because of this, after closing and adjusting, I had my upper waist/belly squeezing out under the bra. So I wore a pair of spanx to hold that part in and it helped give a “snatched”/hourglass look to my figure. I wore this under a black dress and while the color faintly shown through the fabric it looked wonderful. But the boning was painful because the bodice was too tight. I think If I sized up, to a 40F, that may be ok, but the cups would have been too wide and the boning on the under the armpits would have been even more painful. Idk. I’m keeping what I got, I like it, but it is terribly tight.

I was hoping this strapless wonder bra would be the ticket for an evening affair I have scheduled. Sleek and added bodice support intrigued my purchase. Unfortunately this bra is horribly sized. The corset style strapless reviews stated it was small, but in acutal garmet measurements the 34 band size is 26 inches and when the clasps are on the second hook from the Left side the band measures 24 at closure. Stretch and give will not account for 10 inches of band length. This garmet is horrible for standard sizing. This bra was returned and should be discontinued and deamed illega due to band violation.
