The Valentina Super High Waist Mini Bootcut Jeans

I love the color, fit and fabric. So why deduct stars? Details. The buttonhole! For a $200 pair of jeans, the buttonhole is unacceptable. Unfinished. Sloppy sewing didn’t actually finish the hole. . Frayed inside the hole and hard to get the button through. Other (much less expensive) jeans have properly finished buttonholes. Very disappointing.

I usually take a 32” inseam to wear with flat shoes and I would need to cut off about 5” to make that happen. Not sure who these are for? Since I can’t tell what the leg shape would look like after that kind of alteration, these are going back. If you’re ok with a 37” inch inseam, they’re fine otherwise.

While the denim itself felt luxurious and compressing and the boot cut had the perfect amount of flare, the cut of these jeans was strange and unflattering. The high waist was so high that it went up higher than the bottom of my rib cage, causing me to look like I don't have a waist at all. Due to the extra high waist and the placement of stitching and pockets, it made the butt appear wide and flat. Also the pockets were placed unevenly (I added photos for reference). The design and quality control were both disappointing here.
