The Collegiate Graphic Hoodie

Everything about this sweatshirt is a NO for me. The fit is very boxy and unflattering. Unless you’re like a size 0, this hoodie will make you look bigger. For a hoodie that costs over $100 why are the letters printed on? Such a cheap look! For the price they should be embroidered. I Tried it on and immediately printed the return label.

I’ve been wanting to try this brand for awhile. I finally took the plunge. It was on sale on the brand’s website but since Nordy’s is my store, I purchased it here. And got it priced matched. Nordy’s is great in that way. Now about the hoodie. First the good, the colors are nice and the material is thick. The bad, it runs BIG. I like my hoodies roomy so I ordered a L after reading the reviews. I should have ordered a M. This hoodie is HUGE! I’m 5’ 11” and it was too big for me. And lastly it has no pockets! I like my hoodies with pockets, even the cashmere ones. I also ordered the joggers and they run small. What the heck. I was looking for something cute to run errands in but sadly had to return. I even matched it with the Tory Burch “Destiny” trainers which are great btw.

I’m normally an XS to Small, and got XS hoping it wouldn’t be too oversized, but alas…the bottom waistband hung super loosely, as did the shoulders. Also, for $98 I’d hoped the material would be more substantial, but it’s a rather thin hoodie. Finally, I didn’t realize until I put it on that there are no kangaroo pockets. I get that they probably made that decision for aesthetic reasons, but I found myself constantly reaching for the non-existent pocket lol.
