The City Layered Blazer

LSO Shipping company was the carrier for my jacket and left it outside of my gated community in the rain. I am very lucky a neighbor drove by and stopped to see what it was and brought it to my house. I can’t imagine that Nordstrom‘s would use a shipping company of this quality. everything was soaking wet.

This blazer fits perfectly! I got an xs and I’m 5’2, 117 pounds. Such a classic piece wished I could have gotten the tan color too.

The wool overall is a very nice material. The cuffs especially are super soft and a cozy long length. But the style and length of the blazer didn't suit me. The bottom flares out a couple inches and hit me at the widest part of my hips. I thought that buttoning both buttons would create closure in the front, but the style of the whole area below the buttons is open and flared. I ordered a Large. The shoulders and chest were too big, but the waist fit perfectly. For reference, my waist is 31", hips 41.5", chest 34D, weight 145, height 5'6".

I’m a 5’2” petite who can wear regular fit clothing most of the time. This jacket did not work at all for me. Sleeves were far too long and the jacket hit my hips in a way that was unflattering. I do hope they remake this jacket for another season, with some more normal proportions and a different material. This one is a bit thick and on the itchy side.

The feel of the blazer is soft and cozy. The sleeves scrunch up nicely and the layered look is super cool. The XL is a little big but the L would have been too small. I’m so glad I made this purchase. Pricey but if feels and looks lux!

This jacket quickly became one of the staples in my wardrobe. The fabric is great quality and very soft. It is very comfortable. I live the longer sleeves (if they feel too long for some there are cute ways to fold them!) it can be dressed up or down. It runs a little small comparing to other pieces from this designer. I’m 5’8” 135lbs and I ordered M. Cons- it comes in only one color. I would love another one in brown family.
