x Doug Good Feather Baja Poncho

Fabric has no stretch and runs quite small in the shoulders. For reference, I’m 5’2, 100lbs with slender arms and found the xs fit but was slightly snug in the shoulder area. The other Faherty Whitewater hoodie in the same size did not have this problem. I wouldn’t be able to wear the Baja Poncho with much more than a tank underneath. Simply taking it off and on was difficult due to the narrowness in the upper arms. Would definitely size up if the next size up was available. Too bad because I love the colors and style.

I'm obsessed. I was really on the fence but pulled the trigger knowing I could always return it if need be. Two things I think are important to know are that the fabric has some detailing that comes through close up that you can't quite see in the photos that is really beautiful in person. Also, while it's clear from the description that this is 100% cotton, which I love, I was nervous this would be more of a poplin, rough weave. It's actually like a midweight flannel and so super soft! Sizing-wise I'm usually a 4 or at most a 6 in dresses. I got a medium and am glad I did: while it's fairly roomy in the torso, I wanted a slouchy fit. I also think based on my having broad shoulders, a small might have been a bit snug in that area for me, as many things are. Buy it you won't regret it!
