Isabella Floral Block Long Sleeve Midi Dress

I love the pattern of this dress, it's very pretty and has a vintage look to it. The fabric is very drapey while also being lightweight. No clinging and doesn't seem like the kind of fabric that would be to prone to wrinkling. However, it's very white on the reverse and if you can see that (the hemline, for instance, it's quite distracting.) The fit was very TTS. It's relaxed but still fitted across the shoulders and bust, so it's not sloppy looking. One detail that I thought was very different than the photos and a dealbreaker for me, personally, was that there was about a 3/4 inch gap between each side along the button placket in the front, near the bust. I don't mean when it was ON, I mean just laying flat, unstretched. At first, I thought it was maybe that there was a lining that was folded back, but no. It was just a big gap. I don't know if maybe I got a mis-sewn dress, but it was a definite peep show when I tried it on and this was not what I was expecting based on the photos. I'm returning it, but your mileage may vary and you may get a dress that is different.

I bought this during the anniversary sale with some hesitancy, as I haven’t had great luck with this brand. This dress was no exception. For the price it was extremely poor quality. The fabric was very thin and faded, and there were threads hanging out along the seams. The sleeves were short on me (I’m 5’10), the V was too low, the pockets added significant width to the hips and the top of the dress was tight relative to the skirt. Overall not great design or craftsmanship. Absolutely do not pay full price for this dress. I wouldn’t even pay the sale price, as that’s too high for the same boho peasant dress you can find at any flea market for $20. It’s going back and I’m giving up on Faherty.

Unfortunately, as a petite woman with an hourglass figure and a large bust, I was disappointed with the fit of this dress. While the lower portion was flowy and voluminous, the top section was far too small to comfortably accommodate my bust. Regrettably, I had to return the dress due to the poor fit.
