Genevieve Stretch Velvet Button-Up Shirt

Very pretty shirt, though somewhat overpriced. The color reads more brown than the green depicted, but I prefer that. the buttons are brown, not white as the photo shows, which I'm very happy with (I thought I might have to replace them if they were white). The most important thing: if you're considering purchasing this shirt, you may want to size down. I purchased a medium which is supposed to be a size 8-10. I normally wear a 10, but this was more like a 12. I didn't return for a smaller size because I was concerned that the sleeves might be too tight in a smaller size.

The sleeves are designed with zero placket overlap, and there are only buttons with loops on the actual cuff, so you are flashing 3 1/2 inches of arm above the cuff. If they were going to skimp on fabric they should have at least added a couple more buttons to close the opening. Totally ruins the effect.
