What it is: A Nordstrom-exclusive makeup set that includes an eye palette of six neutral-bronze matte, luster, satin and frost hues, plus a gel eyeliner.

Set includes:

- Eyeshadow Palette in Bloom: a six-pan eyeshadow palette featuring shades If It Ain't Baroque (bright gold luster), What's the Pointilism (white gold pearl luster), Haux (warm medium mauve satin), Sonic Chocolate (warm brown matte), Strong Connection (brown-toned burgundy frost), Give Me Cyberspace (cool chocolate brown matte)

- M·A·C Color Excess Gel Pencil Eyeliner in Glide or Die (0.1 oz.): an ultrapigmented, waterproof gel pencil eyeliner with 24+ hours of wear on lids and 12 hours of wear on waterlines

How to use: Prime eyes with Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base (sold separately) for added color intensity. Apply over eye area (eyelids and creases) with a 239S Brush (brushes sold separately), using a pressing motion to build color for a bolder look. Apply over eye area with a 217S Brush, using a circular motion to blend color for a diffused look. Apply the gel eyeliner directly to lash lines for the ultimate precision. Apply to lower waterlines/inner rims by pressing the pencil gently against lower waterlines and working across with short, soft strokes until you achieve your desired intensity. Apply to upper waterlines by gently lifting lids for easier access, then glide pencil along upper waterlines.

My go-to Eyeliner for mature eyes
1. Super smooth glide makes this easy to use, even on more delicate, older or crepe-y skin. It does not pull or tug the way some eyeliners will. Note: this equals you going through the product at a faster rate. But I find that you waste other products trying to get hard liners to soften up enough to work well on older eyes. 2. Glide or Die is the blackest black color. Very opaque. 3. You can layer this to get a more intense color. I like this for lighter shades such as Copper Orange or Hellbent. 4. Once it dries down, it is budge-proof! I am terrible about rubbing my eyes when I get tired later in the day. This is the first eyeliner I've found that actually holds up to this abuse without leaving me with raccoon eyes. 5. You get about 2-3 min of workable time if you want to smudge this out. After that, it is bombproof. 6. Yes, it works in your waterline and on your lids. I like working this through the base of my eyelashes to get a more intense, finished line. Even if I don't wear mascara, this gives my eyes a very enhancing finish--sort of like mock lashes.

the shades are brown. that's it
I ordered this set specifically for the lovely pinks and gold shimmer combo. In reality, it's brown. It's all brown. It's heinous. No clue what kind of photoshopping or color correction went into these product photos versus the final product, but this is a big pass.

Shades of Pink
I purchased my palette awhile back from ULTA. As a beauty blogger for many years I can attest to the quality of MAC eyeshadows , they are pigmented but I feel that two shades should have been different. I do love the packaging, the art design is beautiful, it’s travel friendly, comes with a mirror. The only constructive criticism I have is that In Living Pink E/S is just noticeable when applied on the eyelids . I would have preferred Expensive Pink E/S rather than In Living Pink ( mind you it’s my personal opinion. Next , Cute On Mute is a gorgeous color but it’s barely visible on the eyes as well as swatching . I would have love to have seen that shade in a different finish like a glitter . Other than that , the palette is worth the buy . Four eyeshadows are Limited Edition Shades so this palette is not refillable if in case someone is wondering about that . Yes , buy it you will love it , I have included swatches .

Not a favorite
I was expecting a great eyeliner. I guess I'm still looking for the perfect glide on liner. This leaves flaky residue on lash line and does not glide on smoothly. Live and learn. I also bought a greenish color which goes on a little better, but otherwise the same.
