is this the PERFECT mascara??
Immediate holy grail status! This is hands-down one of the BEST mascaras I have ever tried. It is both volumizing and lengthening, from one coat giving you a natural born-this-way look to multiple coats giving you straight-up bombshell, without being the least bit clumpy. My lashes look incredible. I tried this mascara a couple years ago and found it then to be a bit dry. If this is a new formula, it is absolute perfection. I love a wetter formula and this one allows you to build volume without weighing down your lashes.

I’ve used this for 12+ years. It was my holy grail mascara and I constantly got asked what I used. Something changed. I even bought a second tube thinking maybe the first was a bad batch. It was equally terribly. Clumpy. Flaky. Terrible. Lmk when it goes back to what it was.

new formula is awful
I’ve used this for 12+ years. It was my holy grail mascara and I constantly got asked what I used. Something changed. I even bought a second tube thinking maybe the first was a bad batch. It was equally terribly. Clumpy. Flaky. Terrible. Lmk when it goes back to what it was.

WHY CHANGE the best formula EVER
Have used this mascara for at least 15 years and it WAS the best mascara I’ve ever used, it made my lashes so much thicker, and I only had to use 1 coat. Just ordered and received and the formula is Not the same. The formula is thinner, and shinier and my lashes actually look thinner, and clumpier when I applied. I just don’t understand the need to change a formula when it is so great with great reviews. I’ve tried so many other brands in the past with no great results that I really am not looking forward to searching for another. It is expensive but before the change was really worth the price, but not after the formula change.

new formula is so bad!
I have used this mascara for many many years, and my last tube is completely different! don’t believe all of the good reviews. They must be fake marketing efforts.. The new formula is really wet feeling, shinier, and makes my lashes so clumpy! they look so bad and the opposite of volumized. what the heck were they thinking messing with a good product? It makes me so angry. I will never buy this again.

It was a great product at one time ...
One that I have purchased again and again and was my absolute go to for mascara. One coat created volume, length, deep black fringe. However, the product has changed and not for the better. The color is a dark grey at best and what's worse, thirty minutes after applying the product has smudged on my lids and under my eyes. Looks like I am back on the market for a favorite mascara.

Different now
My mom and my HG mascara for a decade or more. My mom mentioned it was clumpy now. For some reason o sort of didn’t believe her (in denial I guess) and bought 2 new tubes. She was right. Totally not the same. I’m so sad.
