Eyelights Cream Eyeshadow

I really wanted to love these shadows. I tried a few different colors, but they were all very high shine, shimmer. And that just was not flattering on my skin. I tried the teeniest amount, tried applying with fingertips, brushes, even sponges. But, it just looked like chunky glitter on my lids. It also is really hard for me to use (and I'm pretty experienced with cream shadows.) It's very hard to get the right amount of of this tube. I appreciate that it's all aluminum, but it needs a narrower nozzle for the formula. It just comes out fast no matter how gentle you handle it and then you have a wasted glob of product that you cannot possibly use up in one application. Also, there is ZERO play time. It dries down so fast that you have to blend like the wind! So fast. And then it's just there until you remove it, which is why I gave it two stars. It really does stay on all day. Whether you want it to is another question....Much better cream shadows out there.

This is a nice eyeshadow, but it’s finicky and messy. You need to fine-tune it like a stereo and if you can, it can work great. Put on even a dash too much and you have a major mess. Apply it too slowly, and you get a gloppy experience. If you can get it exactly right, it’s unique in the color and it’s sparkliness. But don’t use it if you’re even slightly in a rush, because there’s a good chance, you might regret how you went about it and want to start all over.
