Good suitcase
I had an Eagle Creek 22” for the past 25 years— I travel for work and it was heavily used. This one is the replacement, and though I prefer two bigger wheels to four smaller ones, this bag is great. Many of the features are updated and it works well. Hopefully it will be as durable as the old one for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually need to write to you to discuss handle not staying place….caused me to lose balance in escalator at airport and fall backwards as could not get suitcase settled in place in time as steps pushed suitcase and me backwards! I love the idea of the expandable part but unsteady handle made pushing and pulling difficult. Person behind me on escalator held me so I would not slide backward any more than I did. How do I send back to have fixed?

Smaller 22” carry on than older models.
Very disappointed! Smaller in volume than your older 22” carry on’s.

Terrible wheels
This suitcase is not built for any kind of rugged travel. The wheels are tiny and don’t roll smooth over bumpy surfaces. Especially frustrating is trying to tilt the suitcase and pull it on two wheels—feels like you’re dragging it through mud. Wouldn’t recommend this. My wife has a two wheeled Osprey that’s so much easier to transport.

Bring it back
Easy to roll but too small inside compared to my 32 years old eagle creek carrier. . . I wish you still made that one.

Expanse 22” 4-wheel Carry On
I’m using it for the first time and it’s been good. We are long time Eagle Creek owners and are also still using our old 2-wheeler carry on bags as checked luggage

Simple and effective
I’m preparing to pack for a more than 3 week trip. I prefer the traditional opening versus clam shell. This is maybe my 4th Eagle Creek luggage and I have high expectations for it. I’d like it to be a little lighter weight but also know this will be durable. Just wish I would have waited to get the packing bags included in the sale. It is about time to replace my old packing bags.
