EXEC™ All-In-One Car Seat (Nordstrom Exclusive)

This seat is exactly what we needed. It’s very narrow and the design of the base allows room for my big kids to buckle with baby in the middle seat. This works better than a Clek for our 3 across situation, Toyota Prius V, big kid in a booster, and big kid without booster. However, if I didn’t need this seat for the design I would not keep it. First, I think it’s really ugly. I’d rather have the rava, or use my Clek I attached a picture of my 53” 70lb son. He outgrew this seat long ago. I don’t know how they get away with saying this seat can be used up to 57” and 120 lb. also, most kids will need a seat for more than 10 years so this is not the only seat you will use. However, the leg support flap will be great for larger kids forward facing. I doubt this seat would accommodate more than a 6 yr old. I feel like I’ve been lied to about height and weight capacity. The anti-rebound panel does cut into leg space. This seat probably has the least rear facing leg space of any seat I’ve used, britax, Clek, peg perego, nuna rava. I think I will be using a different seat within a couple years, whenever we buy a new car, or my baby will be really cramped. I plan to rear face as long as possible. The panel also cuts in on the space to access the lever to loosen straps, it’s very hard to get to the button, and I do not have large hands. Also, the straps are REALLY hard to tighten properly, I have to really pull hard over and over and hold the excess at shoulder height while pulling with the other hand in order to limit the excess. The magnetic clip holders do nothing. The magnet isn’t strong enough. Also, the crotch padding doesn’t have a tongue keeping it flipped forward like most seats I’ve used, the clip is always under him. I find getting him into this seat to be cumbersome and fiddly with all the padding flopping all over and the diffficult to tighten straps. Also, we already had an issue with a belt twisting and it was hard to correct because the back is inaccessible. Little things that bother me: I wish the seat came with a second cover or slipcover rather than a second infant insert. My son outgrew the infant insert in a week, we could always use more of the other things. The cup holders stick out even when not in use. They can be taken off but then the levers the cup holders attach to will still flip out. This probably won’t matter to most but I do have kids squished in next to this seat and they don’t love being poked in the arm by the cup holder arms. If you don’t need this seat for the space then I’d highly recommend buying something else. I think this seat has great advertising, nice fabric, and fits my very specific needs. I think the price is outrageous for a seat that doesn’t deliver on its promises, but cheaper than a new car.

We had a maxi cosi for my 5 year old but it never seemed like it was installed right. We purchased the rava for my son and the install was always perfect. So we decided since our 5 year old has quite a few more years to be in a car seat and booster to spend the money on something we felt would be safer for the long run. This car seat is worth every penny. It’s also a lot slimmer so when we need to put it in our smaller car there’s plenty of space. I would highly recommend this car seat.

I am really annoyed that I returned the Rava that I got during the anniversary sale for this one. For a backwards facing child, it is WAY more cramped than the Rava. Because of the angle you have to keep the footrest/rebound bar up at (basically flush against the back seat), my sons now has less room in this exec than the Rava. His feet basically have no where to go, other than up. In the Rava, because the back had the shell of the carseat, there was more room for his legs. In this angle, the button to push the release to loosen the straps is now super awkward to get to. I couldn't even access it without knowing exactly what angle to push it the first time my son was in the seat. I am returning this and repurchasing the Rava again. This one I can see being great for the forward facing child, but for the backwards facing one, it's a bust. Also, the tether will NOT stop rattling on this one when I'm driving (not a deal breaker on its own, but along with everything else, I wish they had tested this better).

This car seat is exceptional. The ease of install, the gorgeous detail and the ten year life span make this a win win! Do yourself a favor and purchase this convertible/booster for your little one and you will not regret it!

This convertible car seat comes with all the bells and whistles your heart could ever desire for your most precious cargo. Not only is it really sleek and very well designed as far as the aesthetics, it’s also very safe and easy to install and use. We upgraded to the EXEC from the Nuna Pipa car seat and the switch was seamless. Our little boy loves it and we’re confident knowing that his safety was the number one priority in the manufacturing of this product. We highly recommend it.

After weeks of research I decided to go with this car seat for my toddler. I wish I’d bought it when he was an infant. It’s super comfy, easy to install and has a very luxurious feel. I love the soft gray with the brown trim, very neutral. The cup holders are very convenient. Some people complain about the foot rest, I doesn’t really make a difference room wise, but I love it because it protects my leather seat from dirty shoes. It comes with 2 infant inserts and extra harness covers. You can’t go wrong.
