The Cashmere Lantern Sweater

I bought this sweater at the Nordstrom pop up and it’s great. It’s a basic black go-to sweater, but the “lantern” sleeves give it a little something extra. It’s not the softest cashmere, but it’s not itchy. I’m 5’2” 128 lbs, pear-shaped, and the small fits really well. I wear a medium in most brands, but most of my Everlane sweaters fit better in small. The torso length is short but not cropped, and the cuffs hit perfectly (rare for me to find cuffs that aren’t way too long.) Petite ladies, give it a try!

I love the look of this sweater -- the lantern sleeves are beautiful! I ordered it to fill out my fall/winter basics, but when it arrived, I was sorely disappointed to find that this sweater is INCREDIBLY short. I am 5'9", and this sweater did not even come to the top of my mid-rise jeans. When I lifted my arms, the bottom of the sweater came up nearly to the bottom of my bra. Such a disappointment, especially because the cashmere is very soft. Definitely not a sweater for taller people.
