EvaSMART Air Cooler

This unit is cute and compact. Easy to use without the app—which has pretty bad reviews so I figure I’ll skip that. It doesn’t cool a whole room (maybe overnight with the door closed?) but it did cool my face nicely when I sat in front of it during a big, miserable heat wave. So, it’s ok and better than nothing (:

All these good reviews made me convinced I should get it so I did. I really tried to give it a chance and with different methods and spaces and it’s not terrible but it only works if directly placed close and pointing at you. I moved it to my office space which is an enclosed tiny box and it still couldn’t cool the space or me unless I was directly in the airflow which dries out my eyes regardless of position. Going to return it :/

Pros: - Sleek and compact, takes up small space for excellent cool air output. Also light weight and sturdy. - Love the color glow and customization of the light feature. - Ability to power with USB or wall outlet, which is great for portability. Cons: - Touch screen is minimally responsive to touch and very frustrating. While trying to get the touch screen to select a button, if it doesn’t detect what you’re trying to press within 5 seconds, it takes you back to the face menu and you have to start all over. - Unable to connect to or use the app due to issues with the touchscreen’s unresponsiveness. - Difficulty turning machine off with touchscreen off button. The off/on button is next to the fan up button, so trying to press the off/on button will activate the fan button instead of the off button. Overall verdict: great cooling air output, great for small spaces. Horrible touch screen function. I wish it had a remote control because of the touchscreen issue, it’s too frustrating to even bother to use the other functions like the timer or change the color. This is going to be a “turn it on and leave it alone” device which is fine, but defeats the purpose of having the other functions if it’s too frustrating to use them. Overall, if this was gifted to me, I’d be happy with it, but would not recommend purchasing the device especially if those other functions (lights/timer/wifi and app, etc) are important to you. I decided to keep it because it still works and does the overall job it’s supposed to. I can live without the secondary functions.

Bought evaSMART as a present for my husband. He needed something that would humidify his personal space as his eyes kept drying out from his pc work. It worked great both as a cooler and as a gentle humidifier.

I was looking for a portable led air cooler for my home desk and stumbled on evapolar's SMART one. Best one I owned yet, love the light

I'm from France and moved to the apartment in the hot sunny part of the country without AC. This cooler was a savior for me.
