Triangular shape, not fully flat
Picture should show side view. Better to know exactly what you're getting than be surprised and return an item. There is a gap of half an inch between the top and bottom on the pivot side (the side you pinch to open), if that makes sense. When you wear it, the "heart" end is closed and the other side sticks up.
Finish is a good quality. Debating if I will keep or return.
