super itchy
It’s pretty but it’s super itchy. Maybe a shirt underneath would be good, but I think it’ll still be a little itchy. It also runs small, I’m normally a size 6/8, the 12 fits just fine. Im going to return this. It’s too bad coz the color is really pretty.

I like it!
Somehow I missed all the comments about mohair, dazed by those interesting colors and stripes, but when I opened the package, I thought I’d made a mistake. The yellow-toned olive green isn’t exactly good for me, either, but what I’ve found is I love this sweater over chambray or denim-toned tops which I wear a ton of. The denim, chambray, etc (long sleeves) provide a barrier for the mohair itchiness, and the cool blues tone down the yellow-y olive. Also, mohair, or this yarn, is very very lightweight while at the same time being super insulating, warm… and FUN!
For sure not a sweater I’d wear over bear arms in the summer or as depicted on the model, but I’m happy with my purchase. I also just noticed the sweater doesn’t drape on me quite the way it does on the model. I didn’t have a choice of sizes when I bought mine—only size 6 remained, but the knit is stretchy and it looks fine, even over some of my thick polos.
