Surperb Eyelashes
With my recent Estee Lauder Lash Primer purchase, I decided to try their newer "Little Black Primer" tint, as I've loved their lash primer for so many years. Well, I'm so glad I did, as this tinted product is the perfect lash conditioner to use when you are not going through all the make up steps as you would to go out for the evening. The added defining color it gives your lashes is a definite plus, while separating and nourishing each lash.
My environmental allergies are no longer a problem, when they cause my eyes to water. Little Black Primer does not smudge when the watering occurs. It seems to actually settle my eye watering problems that are due to atmospheric changes. At this point, I have not added my regular mascara after the Little Black Primer Tint has dried. I've only been using it as a daytime "less made up" look.
This product is a great new innovation. The chemists working at Estee Lauder certainly know what they're doing!

Disappointed in the product performance
There seemed to be very little product in the tube and it was very dry. It wouldn't cling to my lower lashes. I will have to send this back.

Just what I wanted
This eyelash tint is just what I wanted. I am very fair and most mascaras are too dark, clump too much, and look artificial. This simply darkens the lashes. No fillers, no fibers, no clumps, just darker lashes that look natural. I haven't used it as a base for other mascaras, but used on its own, it provides the darker color that I wanted.

Subtle Effects
I love Estee Lauder and the idea of a black lash primer. However, I was disappointed in this product. It delivered only minimal, subtle differences in my lashes---I prefer big, dramatic lashes. I will say this product does not clump and keeps the lashes separated. But the product is very thin in consistency and I had to apply many coats for just minimal effects. This product will probably work for many women--but did not deliver for me.
I still love Nordstrom's! Great service and free delivery!

No Flake, No Clump!
I have had great success with this, using it as a primer and mascara combo. It stays on my lashes and doesn’t clump it dry out. Highly recommend!

Not sure it’s for me
Not sure about this yet. I’ve only tried to use it by itself vs. as a primer. My lashes are very fine and it really didn’t adhere to some of them. I’m guessing it won’t work as a primer for me either due to this. Will probably go back to Benefit’s primer/mascara.

Not for me.
It was okay. I tried it on its own and under mascara. It gave my eyelashes a nice bit of color and didn't smudge, which is amazing. Under mascara I honestly felt like it just made everything too clumpy and it was not a good look.
