Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm

This is the first cleansing balm I have ever used, now I always do my nightly cleansing with a balm and a gentle soap. This balm is very nice and effective. It removes all of my makeup and leaves my skin clean and soft. I’ve purchased this balm 3 times and I think Estée Lauder is a reliable brand that puts out good products. The base formula is nearly the same as another less expensive brand ( which is owned by Estée Lauder) but this balm has additional botanicals that I think make a difference. The only issue I have is the amount of product you get for the price, the size of the jar is misleading. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

I have been using a couple of samples of this recently and am absolutely in love! I am a full-face makeup user and love using cleansing oils to break down stubborn makeup (including waterproof eyeliner/mascara) instead of makeup wipes because I find cleansing oils do it much more gently and effectively. I liked the idea of a balm because it's less messy than oils I've tried and travel-friendly. This balm has such a comforting texture that doesn't irritate my hyper-sensitive skin, while removing all signs of my makeup and leaves my face feeling clean without any irritation/tugging/redness. You don't NEED to use a separate cleanser after rinsing this off, but out of habit, I still do. I like this balm WAY better than another department store brand's cleansing balm because this one has a more luxe texture and just... 'soft'... on the skin. Plus, that other brand's balm broke me out (which is weird because it's supposed to be super hypo allergenic). For reference, I have oily, yet sensitive skin.

I have never use this type of cleanser before, but so glad I gave it a try. It really removes all makeup and is extremely gentle and moisturizing. I was amazed at how completely it rinsed off without leaving a greasy feeling. A very small amount is needed. It is great for Winter months when I need extra moisture. I would certainly buy this again.

This balm is heavenly. I received a deluxe sample and immediately purchased the full sized item. The texture is almost like coconut oil, but it instantly melts in your hands and onto your skin. It has a slight , pleasant lavender scent and it truly helps clean your face. It leaves your skin soft and supple. It might seem pricey, but it’ll last a long time. You only need a tiny bit to get the desired effect. Highly recommend!
