Essex Quilted Wool Travel Vest

The Peter Millar Essex Wool Travel Vest was a great addition to my winter wardrobe. The PM quality is top-notch as usual. The wool fabric adds a much needed layer of warmth under a down parker on the coldest of days in New England by the coast. The interior of the vest has four pockets for storage, and the suede trim all around adds a classy touch to the outdoorsman's look. The zipper is top quality, and the arm well openings are a perfect fit for me. At 6'0", a size medium fits just right. The red and black check definitely attracts attention. Because I liked the quality and pattern, I purchased the green and black check from another retailer because N did not show availability. The only initial downside for me was the price of the vest, but when it went on sale I moved quickly to make the purchase. Hope to wear both for many years!
