Toxic
Smelled like paint thinner. Would never use on my face. The odor was so powerful when you opened them you started to cough. Returned right away

Essentials Collection Face Brush Set
Seriously, if you haven’t used BK Beauty brushes, get on it! They are so well made & make application a breeze. I’ve been using these brushes for a few years now. It’s a woman owned business out of TX. The quality is superb. This set has the 104 which is made for powder I believe, but it’s the perfect brush for powder bronzers. I also use all of their brushes for the eye area - eyeshadow, concealer, eyeliner and my all time favorite sets - Nikki La Rose pro Artist sets, vol 1 & 2. Buy them! They are the best brushes out there. High quality and affordable pricing.

Work effortlessly but strong smell in packaging
I’m now a BK beauty brush convert! I love Lisa J and Nikki La Rose. I’m only docking one star bc they had a strong chemical smell when I took out of the box. I never notice that stuff, so for me to write this, it’s a thing. I left the out for days before using to air them out.

Good quality from what I can tell, but...meh
I have wanted to try these brushes for a long time (hearing all the hype). They seem like they are good quality, and they are pretty to look at. That being said, I think makeup brushes are like purses (and many other things), specific toward the person. The foundation brush is good, the powder brush is WAY too big. I do not know who needs that large of a powder brush, the bronzer is nice because it "fits" my forehead and cheekbone areas to apply the bronzer nicely. The blush brush is a bit too big and fluffy for blush, IMO. I will probably not return these because it is a small company, and I have already used them, but I do not think they are worth the money.
