I reluctantly like this hat.
I don't like hats. I never wear them. But I dislike aging skin and skin cancer even more so I bought this to cover my face when I'm outside for prolonged periods. My dermatologist is right - it's worth wearing a silly-looking hat if it protects your skin. The Bella covers more than a baseball hat and is marginally more stylish. I spent a long time agonizing over whether to purchase this style or the Hampton, so I purchased both and decided to keep the Bella. The Hampton is the exact same hat with a slightly shorter brim, but the shorter length veered into farmer-looking territory and I didn't love it. For reference I am 5'5'' and 140 lbs and the Bella's size doesn't feel overwhelming or comical. I wanted to share this because I couldn't find many "real people" photos online, and since I sometimes prefer petite sizing, I just couldn't gauge how ridiculous this hat would look. Also, I am more comfortable wearing this in California and the European countryside than I am in Manhattan where I live.

Nice color, Imported “Quality”
Pros: Natural color is bronzy gold tone with a nice “sheen”, style is classy, adjustable well sized brim (for mature, smaller statures too).
Cons: BIG top (not for smaller heads unless you want to stuff lots of hair/bun plus ears at eye level), not adjustable, nothing to keep it from flying off (strap?), Snagged inner lining & very Wrinkled! Was not clean & improperly packaged; No stuffing/balled up in plastic bag with zero tags ? Not Salvageable & Nordstroms will Not honest reviews with Pictures

Amazing quality
I kept going back and forth between this or the hamptons hat, but I’m glad I went for the bella. It’s about an inch wider in the brim, but it’s not too big or hard to wear. I snagged this in the natural color, which I love, while it was on a price match sale.
Straw hats always splinter or break on me, and so I decided to invest in this hat. The material is great and the wide brim holds its shape nicely and is maleable, if you want to snap it up or down. I admit after spending almost $200 on a hat I’m actually a little too nervous to squish this much and haven’t tested its “packability”. But it’s a beautiful hat and it’s not too much for everyday weekend wear.
I’m going on a cruise later this year and Vegas this summer and I can’t wait to wear it poolside and on the beach!

A beautiful real deal sun hat...
This is a beautiful, extremely well made Hat. Beautiful material. But it was a little too much hat for me. I'll have to return this one but will certain purchase another Eric Javits hat to replace it.

Good hat and stylish
These hats are stylish, do not blow up in the wind and provide good sun protection. Negavite is price point, since there are a lot of other similar hats that cost less.
