Emmeline Wool Blend Coat

This coat is extremely thin and definitely not suitable for winter or temps below the mid 50s. It's so lightweight that when I picked up the box of my doorstep, I was certain Nordstrom sent me the wrong item because the box was so tiny and light that I didn't think it was possible for a coat to be inside.

The detailing is done so well. I truly love how this looks. It’s a head turner! It definitely has warmth but it’s not overly heavy. I highly recommend! It’ll be one of my staples!

It feels sturdy and high quality, and the buttons and finishing details really tie it all together. My main complaint is how much of the coat is actually polyester. At that price point I had hoped for more natural fibers than just 55% of the shell, with the lining being entirely polyester. Also I assume this isn’t the fault of the brand, but when I received this to review I was shown the black one, and was a bit disappointed when it arrived in white. It’s lovely, but not as much my style. It’s still a beautiful coat, and I can’t wait to get lots of use out of it.

I love the shape and the small details, it feels classy and timeless. There was a small issue with a loose and slightly cracked button, but it’s easy to fix. Overall, it’s a beautiful coat that makes me feel confident and put together.
