Elthea Belted Rib Knit Midi Dress

I think the dress is beautiful and well made - except for the sizing. It’s a very upscale label, with an upscale price and for that I would expect sizes like 2, 4, 6, etc. because it was small, medium, large it just didn’t fit. Unfortunately I’ll be returning it.

I love the color, cut, style and fit of this dress. It does run a tad small. I'm a true small, sometimes extra small but this fit best in a medium. The slight issue with sizing was no big deal, The deal breaker is the fabric. Although flowy and lovely to look at, it is seriously prone to snagging. It's as though the entire weave has elasticized material woven in. My hands were a little dry when I tried it on and the fabric clung to and pulled at even the smallest bit of texture. I would definitely worry about snag marks and pulling if you carry a shoulder bag with this. If that bag has anything remotely textured on it or buckles, this dress will catch and pull at those areas. I'm returning simply out of my worry that this will look tattered and worn very quickly. I bought this as a long term investment piece due to it's timeless color and style but at this price point, I'd want it to last more than a year or 2 with regular wear, I am not confident that it will.
