Sleeveless Ruched Matte Jersey Dress

the color was great and fit was forgiving, It covered belly lumps, but it looked a little matronly on.

I noticed a dramatic difference between sizes. If you are not sure on your size, I suggest ordering both and returning one. I ordered the 10 & 12 and found the 10 not only smaller in the bust, but also shorter in the waist and a little shorter in length. This dress is for very long waisted girls! It also runs a little big. According to their size chart, I am a 10 up top and off the chart at the waist (35" at my belly button) - the hip is open. The 10 fits the best. The arm holes are a little small, good for bra coverage, not good if you like things loose in the shoulders. Overall, it is a really nice and forgiving emerald green dress.

I don't normally like to wear green, but I love the cut of the dress so I took a chance. I am surprised that I really like the color of this fabric. The dress fits me exactly the way I hoped and have been looking for. I am curvy and need something that will flatter my small, long waist while giving me enough chest room (with coverage to hide a bra) and flattering coverage for my less-than-perfect hips. This dress flatters my best features and hides the rest. The only thing that bothers me is the sewing of the lining under the chest. If you don't fill out the top, you will never notice... but if you fill out the top like I do, the way the fabric is sewn underneath shows a line on the breasts that is a little distracting (if you know what I mean). It doesn't show as much on the dark blue fabric (yes, I got both colors because I love the cut of the dress), but it shows a lot on the green. I guess i will just have to live with it, though. Better to have a seam line on my breast than no dress at all. Maybe the dressmakers will read this and do a different type of seam under there.
