Flocked Metallic Tulle Gown

Very long velvety floral gown. Tighter around the upper waist, more roomy in the busy and shoulder area. Has built in non adjustable transparent spaghetti straps on the inside of the shoulder area to hold the inner layer up. Pretty long hem line that may need tailoring. Overall with the velvety floral pieces, very elegant looking and would be a nice holiday evening gown. Because the silhouette's more A line and doesn't pop out like a traditional ballgown, I think this dress could be appropriate for many settings (graduations, galas, parties, maybe even some more formal academic/business settings), so it's a very versatile dress. When you move around though it does fan out so it is most definitely a gown. The gold details on the dress help make it less static and broaden the age range appropriate for this dress, so this is probably worth keeping for a long time.

The dress is beautiful but runs small. The flowers are velvet and has metallic gold embroidered on them. I’m usually a size 10 in a dress but can go up to a size 12 if a dress runs small. I am 36D chest and broad shoulders and more narrow at the hips with a size 6 pants…athletic build. This dress was very tight in the size 12 up top and cut in under my arm just a bit. The whole bodice was tight. I could make the 12 work but it is just uncomfortable the way it fits. I will try a 14.
