Embellished Cascade Jersey Gown

I bought this dress as I wanted to wear it to a wedding. But it arrived only a couple days before the wedding and it is way too long for me to wear. Since I didn't have enough time to get it altered, I am returning it. For the record, I am 5'5 and I was wearing 5 inch heels when I tried on this dress. Still at least an inch or 2 too long! Aside from the length, I also felt it was a bit too tight in the armpit area, therefore creating the dreaded "armpit fat" look. A size up might fix that, but then the waist would be too loose. I normally wear size 0 or 2 in dresses (4 in designer dresses) and ordered size 2 in this dress. I think it's the right size, it just has some fit issues for my body. If you have a smaller chest or narrower shoulders, it might look better on you. I am including pictures of it on me. Kind of disappointing since it looks so cute on the model.

I am 6'2" and this dress is fabulous. It's just long enough as it should be in the back. The front is open bc of the slit, so I think the length is fine. I am wearing 3" heels and it's fantastic. This item is well made although the lining is short. If you are looking for it, you can see the lining laying under the dress. No way does this make me change the rating though. The color is fantastic and the neckline is stunning. Can't wait to frame a pic of my handsome hubby in his tux and me in this number. I have an athletic build w/ broad shoulders. I'm a 34D and the top fit beautifully.

This is a very beautiful dress . Very long though . I'm 55 but managed to take it for alteration . I wore it for a wedding and it was comfortable enough !! I recommend it

I purchased this dress for a New Year's Eve event. When I saw it I knew it was what I wanted to wear. It was too long, but it was cut down to my heel height. Everything was going fine until I started moving around. The more I moved (and I was moving a lot on the dance floor), the more the dress twisted. So much so that the zipper was situated on my right buttock . This went on all night and I was totally frustrated. I found it very hard to relax knowing this was happening. If it wasn't for the fact that it was hemmed and I wore the dress, I would definitely send it back, Would give 4 stars otherwise.

I wore this dress to a wedding, and I love the way it fit on my body. I wanted something that doesn't hug my body, tightly, and this dress definitely did the job.

I like the fabric of this dress, but there was no accent darting or rushing to keep the fullness of the fabric from making me look pregnant! I think this is best for a smaller busted woman. Nice color dye lot, but again, I prefer a more tapered silhouette.
