The Alba Metallic Long Sleeve Silk Maxi Dress

This is a stunning silk dress! It has very tasteful gold threading going vertically throughout the dress. It will catch the light. The dress flows beautifully when you move around. What the pictures do not show unless you zoom into the full-length front picture is there is a row of tiny of matching fabric covered buttons (they do not unbutton). The buttons start at the top center of the dress, go through the waist and hips, and most of the thigh. Where the buttons stop, there is a slit in the center of the dress, going to the bottom of the dress. The dress is fully lined (except the arms) and the lining accommodates the slit in the dress (sewn into the dress). I’m 5’8” and with 1.5” boots, the dress almost touches the floor. If you have the dress shortened, I think you would lose the darker ombre at the bottom of the dress. I also love the V-neck. Unlike some other dresses, it is not cut super low. I can wear my normal bra and not worry about bending over a bit. Also note, there is no stretch in the material. It fits perfectly and I can move my shoulders and arms easily. I have wide shoulders and finding a dress without stretch to accommodate wide shoulders is difficult. The sleeves are unlined and they are cuffed with a single button. I don’t think you could just push the sleeves up and make the stay.
