returned because of the pockets
Wanted to love and was so sad to return because dress is so cute on and a perfect cover-up. However, the pockets made me look so wide in the hips that I had to return it. I'm already somewhat pear-shaped, 5'5", and weigh 110. XS was perfect size but like I mentioned above, it looked horrible on me because of the pockets. Please make a version without pockets and I'll buy one in several colors!!

my favorite maxi
I could wear this out or to bed… it’s a great comfy material but it does wrinkle very easily.
I am 5’6” 145 lbs and I think the small is perfect.
And it has pockets!!!

I am about 5'1 and 120 lbs. I ordered this dress in an XS in the color Olive. It was so thin and felt very cheap. The fabric almost made it look like I was wearing a bed sheet and the pockets on the side jet out, making your hips look huge. The color was beautiful and of course because I am so short it was a little long. However, not so long that it was too much of a nuisance. So if someone who is of taller stature orders this dress, I would take into consideration the length might be too short. Overall I was pretty unimpressed.

Perfect Cover-Up Maxi
I have this cover-up in the leaf print and I love it. I just went to Jamaica and I was looking for a long maxi to put over my swimsuit, this was perfect. Im about 5"9-5"10ish and the length was perfect for me. It has adjustable straps so you can make it a little longer or shorter if you please. If you're looking for a cover-up maxi dress, this is the one.

Great Easy Going Cover Up
I love this cover up. It is long and drapey and as others stated the pockets do make the dress go out a little on the sides of the hips, but it's not exaggerated like some of the other Elan Maxi Dresses I tried on. In my opinion it goes well with the overall drapey look and feel of the dress, you just want to stick your hands in your pockets. However, in saying that I definitely think this looks cute as a cover up, but might look awkward if you were to wear it as an actual dress. It does run big, I got a small and I'm 5 6" 130 lbs, and it looks exactly like the model, hits in the exact place up top and at my feet but I have the straps tightened all the way. I could have gone down a size, but they didn't have it and I was fine with the small. It is slightly see thru, not enough if you're trying to show off your bathing suit, but enough that someone might make out your underwear if you sat down. To me this is the perfect beachy, loungy, cover it all up cover-up. Might be slightly overpriced for the material and simplicity, but it's on par with other things of this nature. Love it.

Better in person
I just purchased this item today in store in BOTH colors! It's better in person! The black is amazing, flowing, thin, light as air and could work as evening outfit with killer statement necklace as well.....but the best is the "tomato" color as the online picture looks kind of pink it's actually a killer flame orange red color which is really on point for this season....I see it with Turqouise jewelry or white....price point is great I can't wait to wear them
