Lace Inset Skirt

This skirt fits me. It does not have a zipper (erroneously mentioned in the description); but, has an elastic waistband at back portion of the skirt. A zipper might allow more people to fit in this skirt; but, it may affect the style of the skirt if a zip is placed at the back or side. The other reviewers are correct... Despite the elastic band, I have to slowly pull it up through the widest part of my hips which measure ~ 37”. What I love about this skirt is that the upper one third of the skirt is a relatively flat panel before it flares out at the lower two thirds of the skirt to create a flirty flounce. I’ve tried on multiple skirts similar to this; but, they make me look bulky and wider at the hips (and, thus, look much shorter than I already am). The skirt is lined and its lace inserts are well placed. It does not show my belly button. I wear seamless mid thigh boy-shorts with these skirts. For reference: I’m 4’11” (the bottom of the lace insert points are about 3.5” from my knee cap). It was only available in black when I first saw it. Now I also have the white skirt. Both are size small. This skirt could be a beautiful staple to have in your wardrobe if you like this style and it passes through your hips (only reviewing the small). Give it a try.

Looks wise, it’s a cute looking skirt. Not wearable tho. No zipper, only elastic waistband but the waistband doesn’t stretch enough to fit over the hips. Size M= 26” elastic waist at its smallest, 28” stretched out waist, 34” hip measurement. This means for a med size, you can a max of 28” hips.
